Please use COMPLETE sentences for both parts of the blog response this week. Try to use details that we learned on the field trip (try to use terms we learned from our guide!)
Ok. I got it!
Mr.M what are you good at?
I liked the cortage because it was a great expirience to get to trie to do some stuff that the native americans got to use like cortage wich I awlready talked about and a lot of other cool stuff, and I cant wait to work with are new residint artest LB and Anne cubberley!
corige beacose: I made feet of it.
Cool, i wasn't very good at it, i got really confuesed
I think the Native American skill I would be best at is Archery! I have quick hands and a good aim. I also think it is fun because its amazing how it can shoot right out of the bow! One of the tools the native american's used was glue. Their glue was made by heating up the gum from a sugar tulip tree. Another was a spoon or ladle. They were made by hollowing out a red oak twig on the end of the twig. The last one is an ax. They are made by hollowing out a branch and putting a stone rubbed in wet rock into the hole and if the hole is as big it will fit. Thanks!
Cool! I Bet you wode be good at it to.
Thank you Serra :-)
Silas, i love how you put how you are good at archery. Like you have quick hands, and good aim. Nice job Silas!
Thank you Ayden :-)
WOW Silas, that was one long and good response:)
I think that a thing I am good at is making steam because I like doing things like making fire
the native people made homes tp's and spoons and ax's and all sorts of cool things
Nice job Andrew. I love how you gave a reason for why you were good at making steam!
i think you and me made a pretty good team trying to make fire don't you think? and i also think the teepee's were really cool, along with the spoons and axes
I think that was a great blog.
I think I would be good at Corig beacose: I made feet of the roop. They alsow made spoons.

My coment is i like how the native ameracins used different kind of verey cool stuff that people didin't use like, cortage tipis,bark/wood and many other things.
Cool comment Jack!I also love cordage.
Thanks Aidan, your the best!
i`m good at cortege because I made three brade.
I love cortège too!
I think would be good at carving rocks. Because I made one and it was kind of like a arrow head! I also am great at it, because I love art and sometimes I carve so Im used to it! One of the native amaricans tools where spoons they were made to drink something. Another tool they used is a rock and tide it to a stick with a string from a tree to break something. They also made a fire buy taking a bow and arrow and a stick and a peace of wood and raped the stick around one time and got a peace of wood to put on top of the stick, and they would point it down and start rubbing the stick on the peace of wood.
Good job Scarlett!!
I love your response Scarlet! Good job putting detail in it.
The trad that I woud be good at is Quording becuse I lrind vearey quwicle and I can do it with out loking. One of the tools is a ax,they wode mack it out of wood and a smothed rock and string. They woud brn the botom of a tree and then chop it down.Another tool is tongs they wode mack them out of wood and string. They wode use them to take a hot roke out of the fier and dip it in a boll of water and that is how thay heat up sope.if you were a plans nadive amarcon you wode yose a buffol horn. You wodu use it to cary water food and cole to mack a new fier it is hollow so that ishow you can carry stuff.
I saw a lot of things, like a tipi and how to start a fire, and a lot more! I think that I would be good at cordage. I think that I would be good at doing cordage because I made a lot of of cordage and it was really fine! One of the tools are a spoon I think the spoon was made with wood I don't know what wood it was made with but that was one. Another one was spear the spear was made of a good stick and a sharp rock I think the stick was craved. And the last one I'm going to say is a fish trap the fish trap was made with good shaped twigs. Those where some of the tools used.
Mya I like it!
I think i was good with the cording. I think this because because once i got the hang of it, i made 1 foot of it. One of the tools they made is a axe. They made it bye useing cordige. They would rap the cordige around the sharped stone and once they tie them, it could BARELY cut wood. Another thing they made was spoons. Also, they made soups hot by putting a rock under stone, and then once it was hot enough, they picked it up with tweezers and put it in the stew to make it hot.
I could use a bow and arrow. It is for getting meat, buffalo horns deer antlers and shooting other animals.
I think that archery is one of my favorites and i thin other people liked it to and it looked like fishing with those baskets and they were clever using parts of a animal to survive i found that cool and I found out about that glue and what they used it for and also I learned about
making a line of the string thing
cool I like how you said it was your favorite part Andrew!
I am good at the bow and arrow shooting. I learned that you can use wood as a spoon - like by taking a sharp rock and scraping it to form a spoon. We also learned about how they made an ax. They took sand and a wet rock and they would scrape it and make the rock into a shaped point at the end. I also saw a fish basket. They would make a dam and leave a hole where they fish would try to swim in and they would have fish!
The native American skill that I would be best at is cordage. This is the process used to make rope. I think I would be good at cordage because I am use to braiding things together. One of the tools I learned about is the wood spoon. they used wet sand and a smooth rock to form the shape of a spoon.I thought it was pretty cool to learn how to make a chewing gum.I thought using the bow and arowws was also pretty cool.
The Native American skill I am best at is cordage because I am good at weaving things together. I learned that Native Americans make their teepees out of animal skins and wood from trees. I also learned that they made spoons out of wood by taking a rock and scraping out some of the wood. I also learned that the Native Americans made instruments out of animal bones. They used every part of the animal.
If i where a NATIVE AMERICAIN i would hunt deer, coyote, rabbit and bison useing a bow and arows because i have expireance and have good aim. One tool native americains use are bison horns, they can make combs and coal storage useing different typs of horns. Another tool native americains used are bones, bones can be used for musicail instrements, spoons and needels. A final tool is baskets, you can use baskets for catching fish and geting water.
I think I am good at cordage. I learned that native people used fish baskets to catch fish. I learned that natives took rocks and scraped another rock. That is how they made a shape in the rock. I also learned the natives made tepees out of sticks and bark and they used animal fur as beds. That is what I learned at the Bushy Hill Nature Center.
My skill is bow and arrows. We learned how to make a spoon out of a stick that is burned and scraped. We learned how to make an axe. It is made out of a fallen tree that is scraped and that has a hole with a rock in it. We learned bone instruments are made of very small bones.
I would be good at making ropes because it is easy for my hands and brain to coordinate.Another reason I would be good at making ropes is because my hands are good at recognizing paderns.A tool that the native Americans used was an ax.They would make it by rubbing a rock on another big rock with wet sand on the big rock to make the end of the smaller rock sharp to put it on a thick stick with a hole just big enough for the rock.
I like how you told me that you coordanate with your body and I just have to say WOW!
I would be good at making a fire because I do a lot of fires at my house. I learned to make a spoon you need a rock to take out some wood. I also learned when they kill buffalo they use all the parts because they never know when they need it. They also need a bow and arrow to kill buffalo then eat. They also need an ax to cut down wood.
Another tool the Native Americans used was a spoon they made it by scraping out a piece of wood with a rock to make a curved parts in the stick and they will use it to scoop up the food they were eating so it was easier to eat the food. The last told the Native Americans used was a fish trap it was made of sturdy sticks to make a basket and than they would take a few rocks to make a circle with an opening at the place the currant was pushing so than they would take the fish basket and put it at the hole so the fish would swim into it and when they lifted the basket they would have fish and they would smoke it over a fire so it didn't go bad so they could travel with it.
Seriesley Aidan, there is a part TWO to your story!
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
